Studies show that taking reishi even for a period of 15-20 days is able to significantly improve the quality of sleep. It has a regenerating and purifying effect on cells, tissues, and organs. Reishi has traditionally been recommended by Chinese and Japanese herbalists for insomnia because of its “sleep-stimulating factor.” Prolonged uses significantly improves sleep. Reishi mushroom is used in China against a number of mental and neurological sufferings and after a prolonged illness. Recently, Russian scientists, with great interest in Reishi, found that in addition to all the above, Reishi has significant preventive and therapeutic effects against plaque accumulation (fatty plaques from a combination of oxidation of cholesterol, calcium degenerating white blood cells), which is deposited on the walls of the arteries, restricts blood flow, leading to atherosclerosis.
